Carlyle Finance is delighting its staff by ensuring they have a comfortable working environment. A huge investment of more than £250,000 has been made to relocate to new offices that are professional, comfortable and inspiring. Considerable works have taken place to find business premises that deliver the desired quality standards. Its new offices will be completed with speedy telephone systems, comfy sofas, glass offices and two kitchens – no corners were cut!
The new offices opened on 24th May 2010 where employees viewed their new workplace for the first time. A buffet breakfast and drinks were shared in the morning alongside a welcome speech from Mark Standish, Carlyle’s CEO.
Carlyle Finance wanted to ensure local workmen were contracted on the refurbishment, to support the local business community in Cardiff. The total expenditure is over £250,000 and this is not surprising considering the amount of work taking place, including double glazers fitting 166 square metres of glass!
The refurbishment has meant that Carlyle has been delighted to employ twenty local contractors who are completing a substantial amount of work for a successful renovation. Already the workmen have used a mammoth 20,000 metres of cabling and 300 litres of Crown matt emulsion!
